Services: Crosshairs Outfitters is a full-service hunting and fishing outfit in the State of Alaska; hunting only in Missouri. In Alaska, we fly from the float plane basin owned and operated by Alaska West Air on the Kenai Peninsula to prime hunting regions of the state. Hunters/clients are treated to a very professional, yet relaxing experience in the wilderness of The Last Frontier as they pursue their trophy. Guided hunts include three meals a day (all homemade), fully equipped camps with quality products, licensed & experienced guides, and more. A long list of references is provided to all clients, along with gear list, contract, and other pertinent information. Fly-out fishing trips for salmon are fully guided and nothing short of amazing! Inquire with outfitter for more information on fishing adventures.
Business stand-out: Crosshairs Outfitters takes pride in not only the extensive experience and knowledge that Mike has but also in his natural ability to make you feel very comfortable and well taken care of before, during, and after the hunt. Each hunt is customized personally for you. He works very hard to please his clients. Mike has known and worked with his primary pilot for over 30 years; air charters are first class. He is licensed in premier hunting regions and knows all these areas very well. There are many nice lodging options and restaurants, but out at camp you are catered to with homemade meals. Clients get a huge dose of fresh air, fresh food, and a fresh new outlook on hunting in Alaska. In Missouri, we have a brand new rustic hunting lodge that sleeps nine and has all the comforts of home. We have hundreds of prime acreage for woodland hunting (guided or semi-guided) at its finest. A continental breakfast and fresh home-cooked meals are provided as well as premier hunting blinds and much more.
Paragraph to know better: Mike grew up in Georgia hunting 24/7. He left for a new life in Alaska after graduation. It didn’t take him long to embrace the Alaska way of things. Alaska is in his blood. Mike is doing what he was born to do and he thrives after every hunt. He gives his all – well over 100% to make your hunt worthwhile. He lives for that smile from his client and the high five when the hunter gets what he came for! Missouri hunting is also a way of life near and dear to Mike’s heart and together, with his wife Karen, they have created a divine location for great hunting and great times!
Piece of advice to hunters: Mike advises everyone he connects with personally and professionally to please check the outfitter thoroughly – all avenues of what they say. It is best to be cautious and wise when researching who you are going to trust with your dream hunt. Everything matters! The guide and his credentials, the pilot and his planes, both of their length of experience and the people who work for them; camp equipment, the hunt area and overall territory, the food/beverages at camp, and more – it all matters! With Crosshairs Outfitters we have two mottos – “Safety First” and “Where the beat of your heart takes on a whole new meaning!” And we stand by both of those.
