This Beautiful Giclee on Canvas, number 34 of 125 measuring 24” x 36” without frame. Framed it is approximately 30” x 42”. When Linda saw the Selous sub-species of the Plains Zebra in Tanzania, their stunning head to hoof stripes captivated her. She decided a night scene would create the most interesting drama for this iconic African species.
Though they cannot see in the dark, the zebras’ rapt attention can only mean they heard something. Maybe the soft pad of a slowly moving paw somewhere in the grass? Linda Besse was the Safari Club International Artist of the Year in 2018 and the SCI Conservation Artist of the Year in 2014. Her art has been exhibited both nationally and internationally for the past 20 years!
