It has been my privilege to serve on Michigan Safari Club Board of Directors since the fall of 2012. I was born and raised in Holland, MI. After I completed my time with our “Uncle Sam” and was honorably discharged, I permanently moved to the Grand Rapids, MI area. My wife Michelle and I currently live in Vergennes Township. We also have a cabin in Newaygo County where we enjoy spending time. My hobbies include hunting, fishing, hiking, and golfing. During my 30+ years of industrial sales and management, I have been very blessed to make and retain many wonderful business acquaintances. Many have turned into lifelong friendships which I am indeed very grateful for.
The same wonderful things can be said as to my involvement with SCI. I have been a member of our local chapter for many years and I am also a Life Member of SCI. In the years I have been a member, I have had the pleasure of expanding my experiences with many of our fellow members. Michelle & I have enjoyed traveling to many destinations worldwide to hunt, enjoy the great outdoors, and especially enjoy giving to the local areas we visit from our “Blue Bag”.
During the time I have had the privilege to serve as a board member; I have enjoyed many SCI activities. As a member of your board, I have been directly involved on many committees. In 2014, I was the convention and fundraiser chairperson. I certainly hope you enjoyed that event!
